As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

My main objective for this project was to make clean shapes and pick the right color to make it look better than the original photo.

What tools did you primarily use for this project?

The tools I primarily used was the pen tool, Brush tools, and layers.

What are the advantages of using the Pen Tool and creating Paths?

The advantages are getting multiple selection’s to fill at once, and getting the shapes as smooth as possible. Also, you were able to save a selection from the pen tool and come back to it the next day.

How were you able to fulfill the requirements of the Rubric?

I was able to fulfill the requirements to the rubric by having 4 values in one selection. Also, used many colors in different spots in the face to make it look like the actual person

What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some of the challenges I faced was trying to make smooth selections. Another challenge I face was making the jacket of the person trying to get every detail considering the jacket wouldn’t get posturized so it was very difficult for me to get every detail. Lastly, I challenged with the hair my hair was very curly which was very difficult for me to meet the requirement for it.

Do you feel you successfully completed the project? Why or why not?

I do not feel like I successfully completed my project because I left out a requirement for the hair. The hair was very difficult to get the curly hair to look like natural hair.
